Mapping of Israeli assault: July 12-28

The Maps of Israeli Assault on Lebanon are developed by a group of activists to demonstrate the reality of the Israeli assault on Lebanon. An act of collective punishment that is overreaching and unequivocal, and opposite to Prime Minister's Ehud Olmert claim that Israel is "not fighting the Lebanese government or the Lebanese people".

The map is our attempt at understanding the cumulative impact of such an attack on our lives as citizens and on the thousands being killed or displaced daily. The figures and numbers on the map speak for themselves. As you look at the map, we urge you to remember that these dark dots you see, are villages and towns where thousands of civilians reside, the majority of which are now numbers in a long list of dead and displaced.

What does "100 unfound bodies under wreckage" mean?

It means there are people reported missing by their families, they were present at the bombed site, their bodies have not been found yet due to the scale of destruction in certain residential buildings.
